Roger’s Story
Roger is a 46 year old, hardworking tradesman, who came to our practice with a partial denture that was not comfortable and would fall out often.  Roger didn’t want a new denture- he wanted a better solution to his problem.

After initial diagnosis and planning including X-rays of all teeth; study models and clinical photos, Roger underwent the following treatment:
Extraction of the impacted tooth, the elimination of tooth decay and the treatment of periodontal disease.
Once the above treatment was completed, a template was designed according to Roger’s aesthetic and functional requirements.  Then the teeth were restored using bonded composite technology, including fibre reinforced bridges and all his old mercury based amalgam fillings were eliminated.

This type of dentistry is an example of what we love to do at Richmond Fine Dentistry- fine dentistry. The ability and opportunity we have to rebuild broken smiles is a privilege we value.

But what gives us the greatest satisfaction, is when Roger returns after living with his new smile for a couple of weeks to tell us how happy he is, and how he feels so much more confident in his day to day life.

Health Insurance Claims

So that we can offer you the most convenient service please ensure you bring your health insurance card with you to every visit. This enables us to process an “On the Spot” claim for those funds that are affiliated with Hicaps. Coming to the end of the year is the perfect time to check if your health fund works on a calander year basis. If they do it may be worth completing any treatment you require before the end of the year.

Medical History

Your medical history plays a big part in assisting us with your dental care. We will update your medical history every 12 months, however be sure to inform us of any changes at each appointment.

Tax relief for dental treatment

Did you know that you claim a 20% tax rebate for any medical, dental, prescriptions, physio etc of your out of pocket expenses after the first $2 000 spent in a financial year.

We are more than happy to give you a print out of what you claimed and what you paid in a financial year. Contact your pharmacy and Medicare office for similar information and present to your accountant.

Cancellation Policy
At Richmond Fine Dentistry we require a minimum of 24hrs notice for cancellations. In the event that less than 24hrs notice is given prior to the scheduled appointment time you may be charged a cancellation fee.
