Our team trip to townsville
Last month we attended a dental conference in Townsville, in sunny Far North Queensland. We were warmly welcomed into Dr Arnold’s Surgery and had two fantastic days observing how they manage their busy dental practice. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of observing every aspect of their patient care and how the hygiene department is so important in the care of patients.
Dental hygiene is essential in maintaining a healthy mouth and enhances a person’s overall well being- smiles are very important to us- and we are so excited to be offering really comprehensive care for our patients.
The conference concluded with a celebration dinner, with Dr Arnold and his staff, overlooking Magnetic Island on The Strand in balmy Townsville, we enjoyed lovely food and wine and lots of laughter.
The next day spent relaxing in the sunshine on Magnetic Island was the perfect finish to our time in Townsville.
All the staff at Richmond Fine Dentistry would like to thank Dr Harper and his wife Judy for a truly memorable time.

- Gaps in the front teeth can be caused by tongue studs. Recent research at the University at Buffalo in New York has discovered the link between tongue piercing and development of diastemas.
- Laminated mouthguards made with high pressure forming machines offer superior fit and protection against sports injuries. “Boil and bite” appliances offer poor protection to teeth and a false sense of security.
